I really love the shoes and bottle holder! I got the bottle holder for the free shipping (they got me haha) I’m very pleased with my purchase. My first impression of the shoes was that they looked a bit big and felt a bit loose, but after one wear, I could really appreciate the barefoot feel that the loose fit has to offer… plus they are quite secure with the back strap (and really cute, too!). One practical thing I hadn’t considered when ordering them was that water on the ground would leak through to my foot. I found this out on a hike through the woods after a dewy morning. Surprisingly, it wasn’t unpleasant! I’ll be extra careful not to step in puddles if I wear these in the city though. I read some reviews that noted an awful smell coming from the shoes after getting them wet. Mine got completely soaked when I got caught in a thunderstorm towards the end of my aforementioned hike… but no smell! The shoes held up great in my frantic running back to shelter through the woods, as well. I also feel more energetically grounded while wearing these shoes. Maybe it’s the lack of rubber, maybe it the wide sole and flexibility, maybe it’s placebo, but I dig it. Now just to see if they stand the test of time. Fingers crossed!
